Saving Clause

We have just been asked to manange a property by a landlord and the Section 21(4)(a) served by the previous agent has the incorrect date (one day too early)but it does has a saving clause which states “after 07/04/2011 (3) or, if later, the day on which a complete period of your tenancy expires next after the end of two months from the service of this notice.” It that correct or does another S21 need to be served? many thanks.

My House is let to a housing association but they have it empty at the moment. Who is liable for the council tax?

My property was let to a housing association 3 years ago. The lease is in the process of being renewed. I have just received a demand from the council to pay the Council Tax. This is the first such demand since it was leased and, whilst I now understand the property may have been empty for a while, I of course have no control over this. Do you happen to know if I am in fact legally liable for the council tax?
