Is your tenant 2 months in arrears?

 

“When we ask “is tenant two months arrears”, this means in money terms and not time. On a calendar months rental payment, it means one month and one day because the tenant has until midnight on the day it is due to be paid.

For example if the rent is £500.00 pcm, there must be at least £1000.00 in arrears. If the rent is payable weekly, there must be at least 8 weeks rent in arrears.”
