Section 21 – Deposit Protection


- Have you registered the deposit with one of the approved tenancy deposit schemes?
- If the tenancy was in effect on or after 6 April 2012, was the deposit protected within 30 days of it being received or by 6 May 2012?
- Have you served the prescribed information relating to the deposit on the tenant (also known as a deposit information certificate)? (If you have used the Guilds documentation you will probably have done so).
