If taking a deposit prior to a tenancy commencing, this document ensures the deposit is a “holding deposit” until and if a tenancy agreement is signed.
Once a tenancy has been granted, the holding deposit becomes a “deposit in connection with a tenancy” or can be used to offset the first rent in advance.
This document is in PDF format and can be completed on screen before printing. It is also suitable for online e-signature apps.
