Can I attend an eviction hearing on behalf of a landlord in their absence?

    No, only a “registered and regulated” person may attend (solicitor, barrister etc.) on behalf of the landlord.

    It is in theory possible for the landlord to obtain an order allowing you to attend but that’s almost as difficult and costly as just getting someone to attend!
