Hi. My Tenant is going away for 2 months and he has asked us if his sister and her partner can stay at the property while he is away. I have no problem with that as he will be paying rent as usual by standing order but just for safe side do we need to sign a new tenancy agreement with sister and her partner or we can just add their names on an existing agreement. P.S. this is a 1 Bedroom Flat.

Do I have to add the second tenant name in agreement as a tenant’s reletive going to stay at the property while he is away for 2 months?

Whilst on holiday, the tenant is still classed as “residing” so probably the best thing to do is use our consent for temporary guest template.
