Is income deemed to be 50/50 for a property owned by a married couple?

If a rental property is owned 100% by the wife is the income deemed to be received 50/50 by the husband and wife or 100% by the wife?

    Looking at the HMRC guidance, it looks like it’s based on the shareholding of the property. From the guidance, it seems the 100% owner will receive 100% of the income. However, the shareholding can be changed so as to split the income.
