Question

Utilities (England)

Electricity supply

31 Mar 2017 | 1 comment

I have recently purchased a flat that had been tenanted. The tenant has long gone and there is no indication of who supplied the electricity – no bills and neither previous owner or estate agent have any information to help. My new tenant wants to establish payment for the electricity that is still being supplied but is met with continued request for a previous account number. Any ideas, please?

All regional network providers are able to provide this information. Please see here for all the numbers and choose the one based in your region (you will need to scroll down a little to find the electricity numbers).
