Hi! There seem to be a lot of material on how to handle internal maintenance but I was wondering if the same applies to the external works? Our flat is one of 4 in the Victorian conversion and we are arranging necessary external maintenance. As freeholders we are required to carry it out every 7 years. Inside of the flat will not be affected but there will be scaffolding erected for circa 6 weeks and external side of the windows being re-painted.
I was always going to give tenants the heads up, but was wondering if there is a template for this and what are my (and their) rights are, as understandably this would be an inconvenience.
