One year ast husband and wife, husband moved out 5 months in and wife remains, ast ended in august 2021, almost 4 months rent arrears, can a s8 notice be served in both names in order to get the money side of the judgment against him?

It all depends on whether when the husband left, that was accepted by the landlord or not. If it was accepted, a new verbal tenancy will have been created in the name of the wife only. But, if the husband just left and there was no acceptance by the landlord, the tenancy still continues and the notice can be in both names (an AST continues as long as at least one of joint tenants occupies as only or principal home).
