A tenant has vacated following a section 21 and they are asking the landlord to compensate them for leaving more oil in the tank at check out. Is this something a landlord is obligated to do?

    We don’t believe so, no.

That is even more strengthened if you use our tenancy agreements because when selecting that fuel from the utility section, our term expressly says there’ll be no refund at the end of the tenancy.
