No, there’s no need. The tenancy simply vests in the remaining survivor.

Hi thanks, how do I serve sec 21 notice, is it on the remaining tenant alone, only the court sees the tenancy to two tenants and not one.

Yes, you would serve on the remaining one only.
If it gets to the court stage, a note would be needed just to explain that one of the tenants had died and that it now vests in the survivor.
