Remortgaging an existing property to a new lender (High Street Bank). Lender has now come forward and advised that any new buy-to-let transaction is regulated since Jan 2017 and insisting to have sight of ALL existing ASTs (even including those where Lender is not lending against). Can we provide third party tenant/AST information to a new unconnected lender ? Any issues with confidentiality, data protection and is consent required from All existing tenants ?
