I’ve served a S21 notice with 6 months and one week deadline. What notice/conditions apply for the tenant now moving out, if they choose to leave earlier than the full 6m+1w? We have the usual 1 month notice in tenancy agreement, as per your tenancy builder – does that continue to apply as normal? There aren’t any other unusual circumstances involved i.e. relationship still v good between landlord and tenant. Thanks

Nothing has changed for a tenants notice whatsoever under temporary Covid rules.
Assuming it’s periodic, they can give notice and leave accordingly anytime.
