Number of years required to keep Gas Safety Certificates

Can you please tell me how many years I must keep gas safety records on my rental property.

    The legislation says at least 2 years. However, because carbon monoxide poisoning can take several years to produce effects, we would highly recommend that you keep the records for much longer – at least 6 years as a minimum. This would provide evidence should someone claim they’ve been exposed for several years.
