Damage by cows

8 Jun 2022 | 1 comment

Part of my rental property backs onto a field and the farmer has put cows in it who have damaged a bit of the cladding on the property.  He told the tenant it was really the landlords responsibility to fence the property.  Not sure that’s true –  What’s your verdict please?

It is the farmer who must ensure their land is “stock-proof”. (We used to be farmers, so I am very aware of this principle).
