section 13 rent increase form

You will be able to insert all the information into the form on-screen and a completed form will be produced as a PDF for download, printing and posting.

Where a landlord wants to increase the rent of an assured shorthold tenancy, section 13 Housing Act 1988 contains a special procedure. If section 13 is followed, a prescribed form must be served giving the tenant at least (in most cases) one months notice of the increase. This form is the prescribed form for the purposes of section 13 and is for Wales only.

Guidance on completing this form is available in our increasing the rent article here.

If the property is in England, please use the England form (you can use same link and ensure to select the correct country when creating the form).
