slip on s21 request for possession and costs

now he defendant has put in a defence, do i not return the slip? and if so what bits do i cross out?

    Correct, you shouldn’t complete the slip. You will now hear from the court who will do one of two options after a judge has seen the paperwork:

    1. The judge will ignore the defence (if there’s nothing relevant) and order possession, or
    2. Order a hearing

    You will need to wait a few days whilst a judge makes a decision.

    If you haven’t heard anything in about a week, ring then to see where you are with it.
