Tenant belongings left after eviction

Is there any legal act, reference or guideline that stipulates a landlord’s obligations with respect to tenant’s belongings after eviction? Surely, there must be something in black and white that governs what a landlord can and can’t do with tenant’s belongings and any relevant timelines for granting access to remove or of disposing items?

I can’t seem to find anything out there.
