A judge has requested a hearing and on the order it states that it is unclear if the tenant was given a gas cert ‘before’ the tenant occupied the premises… it was my understanding that as long it was given (as on the N5b) prior to notice then thats suffice. The date on the form (which is not fit for purpose in my view) is prior to notice not before tenant moved in, despite the fact there was a gas safety prior to when tenant moved in

Mmm that’s clear as mud!!!
Thing is never had an issue before with putting in dates on possesion form where the gas safety was given … usually enter the last one even though there were previous tenancies
Not sure what to do or even believe now, so the s21 is dead?
