Amendment to existing HMO Licence

19 Feb 2021 | 1 comment

I have a property with an HMO licence specifying 4 person let. I am thinking of upgrading/reconfiguring to get a fifth bedroom – is it possible to amend the Licence mid term. Thank you.

Yes, this should be possible assuming the local authority allow it.

You will need to speak with the local authority who will let you know how to go about this and the criteria for any additional persons.
