Are landlords being succesful in selling their properties despite the 6 month notice required because pandemic

dear Guildy,

im considering selling my HMO terraced house in London, im just enquiring if Landslords are experiencing difficulties in selling up whilst having to issue 6 months notice to tenants. I have 3 tenants in periodic and would like feedback whether one can sell up succesfully with these requirements are landlords experiencing any issues in selling up and having to give 6 months notice?

    Please accept our apologies for the delay in replying. We thought we’d replied but it doesn’t seem to be shown here!

    We’re not sure about London specifically but from what we’ve been hearing, if it’s an investment style property (which this sounds to be), potential buyers are preferring the property to be occupied rather than being empty.
