Broken Window

My tenant has reported that the glass window was broken while he was away on weekend.
Is the landlord responsible for fixing the broken window?

    Unless you can show the tenant caused the breakage, you will be responsible as this falls under section 11 Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 repairing obligations (structure and exterior).
