Claiming rent arrears of more than six years

Does the statute of limitations into the equation on rent arrears i.e. can more than six years of rent arrears be claimed for

Plus an extra question what is the notice period situation in Wales has there been any announcements

    You can only claim arrears back to six years.

    The only announcement so far is that Wales six months notice has been extended until at least 31 December 2021.
