Ending a Tenancy (England) | England | Landlord Wants Tenant to Leave (England)

Company let ended

compnay let has ended as company gave notice and landlord agreed etc…

there is a tenant on the property (the tenant of the compnay with an ast)

the landlord wants the tennat out, what are the options as there are rent arrears and ASB and it’s a 4 bed share and the tenant has barricaded himself in and have the whole property to himself

    From what’s described, the company let has lawfully sublet the property (because it seems the company had permission) and the company let is now at end. As such, the AST has transferred to the head landlord (owner) and they are now the landlord of the AST.

    Therefore, the usual rules apply (section 21 and section 8 if grounds).
