Digitally signed/scanned signature

I understand digitally signed documents are legally acceptable on tenancy documentation (ie: AST, prescribed info etc). However is a scanned in signature which looks the same, classified as the same and also legal?

Yes, that should be fine. Many digital signing apps allow you to upload a scanned signature.

It’s always better to use some professional digital signing app (such as that built into our Tenancy Builder or others like DocuSign) because they also attach an audit trail to the document showing when it was opened, viewed and signed by each party (even if that signature is an uploaded scan).
