EU Tenants

13 Jan 2021 | 1 comment

Will there be an obligation to a landlord to check the status of existing EU tenants after 1 June 2021? If the tenants do not have settled or pre-settled stays by this date (set by the government) will I have to evict my EU tenants.

It’s highly unlikely government will ask to evict tenants.

Beyond that we have no information at this time about the procedure after 1 June but we are constantly monitoring the situation and will update when we know more.
