My property backs onto Network Rail land which is infested with knotweed that is gradually spreading into my garden. It has already covered a large part of the neighbours garden. The landlord next door does not care, Network Rail made some effort to control it a couple of years ago but now ignore requests that something be done. The Council say it’s on private land and therefore there is nothing they can do about it. Does anyone have experience about dealing with Network Rail and residential landlords regards this problem? I already am knowledgable about treating knotweed so it is not that kind of info I am looking for. Thanks.

As it happens, there’s been a recent case involving Knotweed and Network Rail.
Only glanced through it when it was published so not sure if it’s helpful or not.
