Can you give me full details of Section 20?

    Section 20 was a notice that used to have to be served before a tenancy was granted before 1997. Without the prescribed notice, the tenancy would be assured and not assured shorthold. Since 1997, the need for the notice was abolished but it still exists for tenancies granted between 1989 and 1997.
