UK based guarantor

We have a guarantor for one of our tenants, she is a British citizen with a UK bank account but living overseas so would this be acceptable.

    The problem with the guarantor living overseas is we’re not sure how you would sue them should something go wrong. You would likely have to follow the rules of the country where living. Also, enforcement would be difficult if not impossible (bailiff wouldn’t attend and attachment of earnings not available for example).
